Summer has started

Summer has well and truly started. The sun is shining, the birds and singing and the icecream is calling my name. The last week has been particularly nice. We've spent a load of time in the garden and it's made us want to really make it as relaxing and fun out there as possible. We went to a garden centre to get a few plants and some grass seed. We decided to get some breakfast when we were there. They had a really nice courtyard we could eat in and the food was delicious. Ha

Long walks and muddy puddles

Even though we're still in lockdown, it's cold and wet, we still get out for a walk as often as we can. On the weekend we enjoy going for a long walk through the park. It's slow going as Olive likes to stop and have a splash in every muddy puddle. Mostly the ones in the car park. A third lockdown, loads of dramas trying to buy and sell our house (for the last 6 months) are certainly testing our patience. A long walk in the fresh air is a great way to spend a day and proba

Happy Holidays

This year especially we made sure to stick to some of our family traditions, old and new.

Muddle Puddles

We weren't sure what to do this weekend and with the weather turning all rainy and grey we thought we would be stuck inside.

Zoo and Beach weekend

Phew the whirlwind 3 weeks of birthdays are over but that doesn't stop us from continuing to enjoy some fun family time.

Birthday Weekend

Happy birthday to my beautiful baby girl. I can't believe she's already a year old. This year has been the weirdest, craziest, and most challenging year of my life but her smile has made me happy everyday and has made every poopy nappy and sleepless night all worth it. She is a daily reminder of everything that's good in the world. Her cheeky grin, her curiosity and bright blue eyes light up our life. What an amazing long weekend. Firstly a big round of applause to Pais for d

Family days out

We even braved the beachfront and got a delicious ice cream. That's when I rocked Pais world.

Fathers Day

We had some delicious BBQ packs from the local butcher and I was absolutely stuffed. I also had a few cheeky cocktails in the sun.

Family Time

We try to encourage as much messy play as possible and encourage her to explore her surroundings wherever and whenever we can.

Fun in the Sun

It makes me so happy to see our daughter growing up and smiling. We can't wait to get back to normal life.

Been a little while

We went on a long wark down to the local park on the weekend which was nice to see some different scenery

She makes me smile

What makes you happy? What makes you smile? Do your best to stay positive and grateful for everything you have.

Lockdown Memories

...next week we have decided to try giving each other an hour a day alone to do some sort of yoga, relaxation or unwind time of sorts

Backyard Blitz

We then spent the day yesterday tidying out the shed otherwise known as the "Baren Bar" so we could start using the bar and the outdoor area
